A: Large has a divider plate for dual-zone cooking and bigger cooking surface. Mini is your compact pick. Both get equally hot.

Q: How hot does it get?

Q: Can I fit steaks on there?
A: Yes. Two good-sized steaks, or multiple smaller items. You're limited by space, not heat.
