Propane too heavy? 6" Workhorse too big? The Pony 4" Rocket Stove is just right.

The Pony runs on sticks you find at your campsite. No propane tanks. No charcoal bags. No gas station runs. Just wood and fire.

Made with 1/8" steel tubing in Pennsylvania. Legs bolt on and off in 2 minutes for easy transport. Throw it in your car trunk, pack it for camping, store it in a closet.

How It Works

Simple rocket stove physics:

  1. Load 4-6 small sticks (1-2" diameter) into the feed tube
  2. Light kindling at the base
  3. Air flows in from below, creating an intense, efficient burn
  4. Heat rises straight up through to your pot or pan
  5. Add sticks as needed - burns clean with minimal smoke

Boils water in 3-5 minutes depending on conditions and pot size.

Build Quality

We built equipment for oil fields for 15 years. Tanks, drilling rigs, stuff that runs 24/7 in extreme conditions. Every weld had to be perfect because failure wasn't an option.

Now we're applying those same standards to outdoor cooking.

The Pony uses:

  • 1/8" American steel tubing (lighter than the Workhorse's 3/16", still built to last)
  • Industrial-grade welds (same standards as our oil field work)
  • Laser-cut precision (clean edges, tight tolerances)
  • Pennsylvania craftsmanship (made in our shop, not overseas)

This isn't the cheapest rocket stove you can buy. It's the last one you'll need to buy.
